A client portal that feels like your studio
StudioLedger gives each client company one branded portal for estimates, invoices, galleries, file transfers, contracts, call sheets, licenses, and messages, with secure access for the people involved.
What the StudioLedger client portal is
The client portal is the returning front door for a commercial relationship. Instead of searching old email threads for a gallery link, an estimate, a contract, and a file transfer, a client signs in to one place organized around the company they represent. The studio workspace remains private behind that client-facing experience.
The portal is not a generic file folder and it is not a second copy of the internal app. It gathers the records that require a client action or remain useful after delivery: work awaiting approval, balances and payment history, galleries under review, downloads, agreements, production-day information, licenses, and conversations.
How clients sign in and reach the right company
A client enters an authorized email address and receives a secure magic link, so the studio does not have to issue or reset another password. StudioLedger resolves the portal memberships connected to that email. If the person represents more than one company or works with more than one StudioLedger studio, the sign-in flow lets them choose the correct company context.
Company membership makes the portal useful across a team rather than tying the whole relationship to one historical email recipient. Authorized contacts at the company can return to the same company-facing destination, while access records still control which client items belong in that portal. Removing a contact from the company also removes that membership on the next sign-in.
What clients can see and do
The overview surfaces items that need attention, including estimates awaiting approval, unpaid invoices, contracts awaiting signature, and licenses approaching expiration. From the portal navigation, clients can open galleries, download file transfers, review financial documents, sign contracts, read call sheets, review licenses, and continue messages with the studio.
Clients see the records intended for their company, not the studio's internal notes, margins, expenses, team conversations, administrative settings, or unrelated client work. The public estimate, invoice, gallery, contract, and transfer keep their own lifecycle and controls even though the portal gives the client one consistent place to reach them.
Branding and custom domains make the portal yours
The studio's business name, logos, colors, and presentation settings carry into supported client-facing experiences. White-label presentation removes StudioLedger promotion, so the client stays focused on the photographer and the work instead of receiving an upsell from the software provider.
A verified custom domain can place the portal and supported client links under an address the studio owns, such as clients.yourstudio.com. StudioLedger handles the secure application and access rules underneath; the client sees a polished continuation of the studio relationship from approval through delivery.
